The Goods:

Hikari Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Merlot 13.00: (this product is full sized)

This is my first time receiving a Hikari product in my glam bag but have been seeing them around a while and have heard good things.  This gloss has excellent reviews and I understand why.  It’s a high shine gloss with excellent color, coverage and pigmentation has pretty good staying power and is not too sticky.  Hikari is also not too pricey and has a nice simple design and packaging.  I do not really wear dark or super bright colors very often b/c I just don’t feel myself in them and I do not really care for my lips..but if it were a color that worked more for me I could see myself using it a lot.  I will likely purchase it in an additional shade with my 30% off + free eyeshadow Ipsy code (another member perk) I did however take some photos of myself sporting this shade in the collage below. 🙂

(It looks a bit more burgundy in the tube but did not come out that way on my lips)

Marsk Pro-line Eyeshadow Brush 26.00: (This product is full sized)

This shadow brush is a bit different than any others that I own.  Its a bit stiff and more slick.  I found that it is good for precision shadow, hard to blend areas and shadow lining/smudging.  It also makes a great clean up tool.  I’m happy to have it as an addition to my brush arsenal.

Aila Nail Polish in Mr Pookies 17.00: (This product is full sized)

This polish is a Steel Grey with a purple undertone.  It’s a unique shade that will be great for fall.  I picked up on the purple undertones by adding a purple shade as an accent.  Without the addition of this it appeared less purple and more grey. This polish is a physician developed 5 free formula.  My mani only require one coat for full coverage and it has lasted really well without a chip.  I plan to try some additional shades with my Ipsy 20% off code.  I encourage you to check out this brands site and read ‘Aila Gives‘, ‘about Aila‘ and ‘about the founder‘.  This is the type of company/brand I truly feel good about purchasing from.

doucce Ultra Precision Moulded Waterproof Eyeliner in Black 22.00:  (This product is full sized)

This is a great smooth black liner, it’s kind of a Gel like liner.  It’s a nice rich black color and seems to stay put really well.  Great quality.  (I’m wearing it in my lip photos above slightly smudged with my Marsk shadow brush)  I’ve now tried a couple products from doucce and find they are a good brand with high quality products.

Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil of Morocco (this is a deluxe travel sized version which Ive not been able to find for purchase)  The full sized bottle can be purchase for 7.99

I use Argan oil daily in my hair…and kind of a lot of it too.  I first discovered Morrocanoil many, many years ago at a high end salon while getting great lengths hair extensions.  My stylist had just received her very first bottle to try and I am unsure which one of us was more excited over the hair transformation that took place. (it also helps your hair dry more quickly, less heat damage, yay!) I know most have used this amazing products by now, but if you have not, you simply must.  Now, this product is not Moroocanoil the brand, but it contains the same Argan oil and has the similar scent.  The cost is much less.  This is a great product for a low price and I love that I have a nice travel friendly Argan oil to bring along on trips!

Well, that’s that!  My bag had an excellent value this month boasting four quality full sized products valued at 78.00, not even counting the travel sized Argan oil.  Plus, I was introduced to some great new brands.  A win for me!

Thanks so much for reading!
