Today I will be reviewing my August Glossybox. (There are generally a few variations in products)
Glossybox is a monthly subscription box that boasts 5 luxury beauty products each month, wrapped up in a lovely pink box. The products are often full sized, if not; they are deluxe sized samples. The cost of the subscription is 21.00 per month with free shipping.

GlamGlow YouthCleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser: 1 oz size 14.00 (5 oz size is 39.00)
This is a gentle exfoliating cleanser that transforms from a mud into a foaming lather to remove makeup, impurities and dead surface cells. I love this cleanser. I have yet to try a GlamGlow product that I do not like. I generally use a glam glow mask and/or exfoliant once a week and lately I have been using this as a deep cleanser a couple times a week or when I wear a full makeup look. I like it because it seems to be like a mask an exfoliant and a cleanser in one. It gives me the after facial look and feel after each use. You first massage it on your face and its consistency is thick and mask like; as you gently work it in to your skin you feel the exfoliants, which are subtle, not too harsh; then wet your fingertips and rub them together to begin the foaming process, massage in to your skin until it transforms in to a foaming cleanser. Rinse clean. I was happy to receive this cleanser to try and @1 oz it is double the size of the GlamGlow deluxe samples you generally receive as Sephora promo code freebies or in other sub boxes.
Who else is excited for the launch of Glam Glow’s lip line? I AM! 🙂
Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lash Primer: Full sized .14 oz 24.00
I use a lash enhancing primer on my lashes daily and it has done the trick for me for years. It transforms my lashes like no mascara alone can. It is absolutely a staple in my lash routine. I will definitely be replacing the product I used prior with this one as it is the best that I have tried. It is similar to the other I currently use yet much more conditioning. My lashes remained much more pliable when layering my mascara over it and allowed for layer after layer with the ability to separate them for less clumping. My lashes looked fab with this product. I’m quite happy to have received this primer and will definitely repurchase!
Sparitual Nail Lacquer: full sized .5 oz 12.00
I received this polish in ‘I feel the earth move’ which is described as a creme, is a Vegan polish and is sans harmful chemicals. This polish is a bit more thin than a lot of my polishes and though it is labeled as a creme it is not really opaque, more of ‘like a’ stained glass look to it when light particles or sun hits it in the right way -it brings out a shiny red. Oxblood is what comes to mind for me in description to this color. It’s a nice polish and worked well for the (above) Burberry inspired mani, inspred by the new Burberry Sephora launch! Ahhh gorgeous stuff!
Lollipops Makeup Lip Balm: Full sized .33 oz $5.50
This is an antioxidant rich lip balm with excellent moisturizing properties and UV protection. It contains an extract of tepescohuite, A Mexican plant known for its regenerative capabilities. (where can I get my hands on a full plant? 😉 haha!) This balm is light and moisturizing and smells delicious, like Marshmallow! Love it!
PopBeauty Kajal Pen in Sooty Black: Full sized .03 oz $10.00
This is a pretty good liner, it goes on smooth and I can pull a cat eye off with it if need be (though I’m a liquid liner for my upper lids kind of girl) It’s good for a smokey eye look though and has the smudge tool on the opposite end. It has great pigment, glides well and overall is a really good product for $10.00.
This was a really good box for me. I found some products I plan to continue using, one that I am thrilled to have found and the value at: 65.50, though not as high as some have been, is still great for the 21.00 paid. Plus, it contains products in which I will get consistent use from. What did you think of the August Glossybox?
