Hi Lovelies!  The Holidays are upon us which means: so are loads of beautiful, enticing, sparkling, Holiday curated beauty gift sets and special edition; one time purchase, subscription boxes!  Because I am a total sucker for these types of items; I have lots of them to review for you!

Today I will be reviewing the stunning, but unfortunately sold out Limited Edition Holiday box from Glossybox!  This was a one time box that anyone could purchase for $40.00 with the promise of: 6 Luxurious products valued at over $190.00.  *Current Subscribers received an early access 25% off discount code, in their October box to use toward this box.  I jumped on this and paid only $30.00 for this amazing box!

The Box:

Isn’t This Gorgeous!!!

The Goods:

Nuxe Dry Oil

Nuxe Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse:  Product is full size, 3.3 oz $45.00

Such a great product to include in this box, a fabulous winter dry oil treatment from an excellent brand.  I love that this oil comes in a pretty, perfume style, spray bottle.  You can use this product on both hair and skin, even mix some in to your foundation for an added glow.  I love spraying it on my body skin post bathing/showering and spritzing it on the dry ends of my hair.  Smells nice too!

Trust Fund Beauty Champagne Socialite

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in champagne Socialite:  This product is Full Size, .57 oz $15.00

I have one other polish from Trust Fund Beauty and I like it a lot; the formula, the packaging and bottle design…and this shade is the perfect holiday shade in a rosey, metallic gold.  It is super easy to apply and looks great with only one coat.  Love it!

Aerin

Aerin Kaleidolight Palette

Aerin Kaleidolight Palette: This is Full size, .74 oz $70.00

This palette boasts 5 individual light enhancing shades: Bronze (2), beige (2), Pink and Lavender, meant to add a subtle glow in just one sweet or you can use one shade at a time for multiple purposes. I’ve only played with this palette a little so far but I really like it.  The pink shade makes for a nice natural flush of a blush and the bronze shade a good bronzer for lighter complexions.  The shades combined with a large Kabuki brush give your face a nice allover glow.  In addition the palette itself is simply beautiful as is the the packaging: from the gold mirrored compact to the pink, logo stamped, suede like pouch; it’s a beautiful addition to any vanity

Pure Illumination Lip Gloss

Pure Cosmetics GlossyGloss in Pouty Pink: This is full size .25 oz $20.00

This lipgloss is designed with an LED light that activates when you remove the wand from the lipstick tube and contains a mirror on the back of the tube.  I was unsure of this shade upon viewing it in the packaging but on the lips it is quite similar to my natural lip shade and simply enhances my lip color.  It’s quite pretty.  The gloss has a nice texture and consistency and isn’t sticky. The only issue with this gloss is that when you are applying it in the light, the bright LED light is a bit distracting…but overall it’s a great product and one I will keep in my bag for suitable instances.

Atelier Mascara

L’atelier Maquillage Mascara Keracare. This is full size .35 oz $30.00

This product is in the priciest range for a mascara and I’ve not personally heard of it prior.  It is described as a Keratin-protein base mascara that achieves lashes that last all day.  I’ve not had the chance to try this mascara.  I have several opened and in use already so I want to use them up prior to opening this one.  Has anyone tried this product yet?  I would love to hear what you think of it!

Ardency Inn Modster

Ardency Inn Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner in Black:  I believe this is the size featured in their travel size duo and is 0.o28 oz (b/c you can purchase a duo for $15.00 at Sephora I will value this @ $7.50 – The full size liner is .04 oz $19.00

This eyeliner provides creamy, water proof, intense black lining with a super smooth application.  I definitely have no shortage of black eyeliners in similar gel or easy glide on formulas, all great products;  many of them claim to be budge-proof but I am unsure if any of them are waterproof like this one.  Either way, this is a great liner and will likely fit inside one of my palette cases for traveling.

This was a really great Holiday Box, in my opinion and had an excellent value.  Glossybox states in the specs that the box will be valued at over $190.00.  I totaled the box value at 187.50. (I’m not complaining, my guess is they are counting the eyeliner as the full sized $19.00 product and maybe that is what they were expecting to receive from the brand)  Either way;  the value far exceeds the mere $30.00 that I purchased it for and it’s full of good, quality products that I will use often.  I found everything about this box to be beautifully curated down to the box and packaging itself.  It was a huge win for me!

What are your thoughts on the box?

Below is a look at the monthly subscription’s December Box (so cute!) which is currently still available for purchase.  The box itself is a special holiday themed design as well.  A couple of spoilers have been released but I chose not to peak! 🙂
