Hey everyone!
It’s time for another Limited Edition Holiday [set] review!
Today’s set is the Tarte Light of the Party Collector’s Makeup Case which it seems, is unfortunately sold out. (at least as far as I could tell when searching for a link.) I purchased mine from Sephora a little while back. I had to have it as soon as I saw it and am really glad I did not procrastinate on this one!

The set also includes a dual ended eye Shadow brush with a fluffy brush and a more tapered brush.
Well; that was a lot of swatching! I really love everything about this set from the zip-up case with such a cool pattern to the fun names given to the eyeshadows! The shade variety is awesome as there are so many that I will wear and have been wearing plus; there is a great mix of mattes and shimmers, a mix of tones; but a lot of cool tones, [which is great for me] and several unique shades that I do not own anything similar to and really love! (Loving Peach on Earth)
A lot of the Shadows were pretty powdery with fallout when I was swatching my arm, especially the lighter shades. I found that when switching to a smoother brush they worked much better and the particular shadows I have been using on my eyes so far have worked great for me. I’ve had a lot of fun playing with all of these eyeshadow colors and the pigment and shades of the bronzer, blush and highlighter are great and work really well for me (The pigment and texture are much better than that of the face palette in the Stila Holiday set I recently reviewed.)
The included brush is pretty nice for a gift set brush it just seems too pull up a lot of product and make it quite powdery.
The Lights, Camera, Lashes is one of my favorite, Dependable Mascaras for both length and volume with a great design and applicator brush. I would have personally chose the lights, camera, flashes version for this particular set… but this works! 😉
Did anyone else purchase this set? I would love to hear your thoughts! Anyone receiving it as a Christmas gift!?
