The set also includes a dual ended eye Shadow brush with a fluffy brushย and a more tapered brush.

Well; that was a lot of swatching! ย I really love everything about this set from the zip-up case with such a cool pattern to the fun names given to the eyeshadows! ย The shade variety is awesome as there are so many that I will wear and have been wearing plus; there is a great mix of mattes and shimmers, a mix of tones; but a lot of cool tones, [which is great for me] and severalย unique shades that I do not own anything similar to andย really love! (Loving Peach on Earth)

A lot of the Shadows were pretty powdery with fallout when I was swatching my arm, especially the lighter shades. ย I found that when switching to a smoother brush they worked much better and the particular shadows I have been using on my eyes so far have worked great for me. ย I’ve had a lot of fun playing with all of these eyeshadow colors and the pigment and shades of the bronzer, blush and highlighter are great and work really well for me (The pigment and texture areย much better than that of the face palette in the Stila Holiday set I recently reviewed.)

The included brush is pretty nice for a gift set brush it just seems too pull up a lot of product and make it quite powdery.

The Lights, Camera, Lashes is one of my favorite, Dependable Mascaras for both length and volume with a great design and applicator brush. ย I would have personally chose the lights, camera, flashes version for this particular set… but this works! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Did anyone else purchase this set? ย I would love to hear your thoughts! ย Anyone receiving it as a Christmas gift!?

Someone got me this for Christmas, and I’m finding it very hard to wait until then to rip open the gift and start using it.

Haha, I bet! I bought it for myself for Christmas..but it’s justifiable as I did so during the VIB Rouge sale. ๐Ÿ˜‰ It is my favorite purchase this season, hands down.

This set is super cute. I’m a total fan of eye shadows. It’s the most make-up I will ever wear. It doesn’t brake me out like the foundation does. ๐Ÿ™‚ I really love the colors..

It is! This collection of eyeshadows is pretty awesome! I know the feeling. I have to save serious makeup days for special occasions and generally pay for it after. I had perfect skin for many, many years and one day, very suddenly, I started breaking out, hormonal acne. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ It has made me crazy. I’ve found that I can use ELF Acne fighting foundation on basic days. The shade range is pretty good and best part: It’s six dollars. Directly prior to and during my biggest breakout time I use ‘Cover FX mattifying primer with Anti-acne treatment’ under my foundation. You can often get it free as a coupon code from Sephora. I have 3 of them now and have yet to ever have to purchase it. On days I’m staying in I just go face makeup free It all seems to help!.

Going to look into that ELF Acne fighting Foundation. Yeah… I want to be a make up guru but I want to get my skin right first before I start wearing makeup… ๐Ÿ™‚

Totally understand! It’s been a couple of years of trial and error for me. I have finally got it mostly under control as long as I stick strictly to my routine. I also started apple cider vinegar a few months back and it seems to have made a world of difference in my skin. I heard about it from someone else and figured why not! It’s a bit like doing shots of salad dressing haha but you get used to it fairly quickly and the health benefits are many. You buy the Bragg Organic, raw, unfiltered apple Cider Vinegar with ‘the mother’ and take a couple cap fulls (1 tbs) 2 or 3 times a day. It’s used for natural cleansing, healing and even energy!

Wow! I never knew of the benefits of apple cider vinegar. I will give that a try and see what it does for me. You should do a post on that… Would love to get the information from you on how to properly use it… Do you drink it? Or you just put it on your face? So many questions. Lol

Right!? I know I really should! I first purchased it long ago when my husband, who suffers from juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (in his knees) read somewhere that it helped with flare ups. It seemed to work for him and he swears by it. (I assume its a natural anti-inflammatory) I know some people use it as a natural, shampoo alternative or additive to their routine but I could not handle smelling like a salad all day. ๐Ÿ˜‰ It wasn’t until later I found a thread of people who suffered from the same issues as myself talking about how much it has helped them. I already owned it so figured, why not!? It’s really good for you anyway so it certainly will not hurt. You can do both with it! I drink 2 cap fulls of it 3 times a day to detoxify. A detoxed liver results in better skin and overall health. It also helps balance your PH level, essential for good skin. You can also use it on your skin as an astringent/toner on your clean face (add two parts water when doing this) it will help balance your skin and can assist in fading spots and acne scars!

I don’t mind the salad smelling.. Lol. But I will look into doing this. I mostly have black spots more than I have acne itself. I’m just working on just that right now. Let me know if you ever decided to do the post. I will be looking forward to it ๐Ÿ™‚ When every I start I will have a updated post on my blog to track my progress.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, The sequined case itself is so lovely; I must admit I added it to my cart prior to viewing the actual content! haha I could not be happier with the content though. It’s a really great set!

Haha, seriously! [especially with the holiday sets] I’m a sucker for those. I do tend to stick to brands I already know and love so that helps!

I definitely will! I was hoping I’d find someone else that purchased this as well. I agree. I love these shades: All of the cool Taupes and grays, metallic steels, the buttery shades and the sparkling snows. It’s an awesome kit.
