Happy Monday, lovers of shiny things; today I have for you the Too Faced Bronzed & Poreless, pore perfecting bronzer. Now, this bronzer is far from new and I’m actually surprised I’ve not tried it before now as I’ve used so many Too Faced bronzers. Too Faced is definitely one of my very favorite brands and has been for many years. I purchased this gem alongside the PB&J palette just recently, it was on sale so… it was either pay $5.00 for shipping or tack on 10 more and try something new, because that’s just the way I think! 😉
Even the simplest of Too Faced’ packaging is simply too cute not to love
The formula of this bronzer is amazing, though due to its low sale price I wonder if they are phasing this product out… This bronzer is unlike any of their others. It’s very smooth and creamy in consistency, while still being a powder. The unique consistency and its pore perfecting properties do make it feel a bit heavier than other lighter, more sheer bronzers. What I like so much about it is that it smooths my skin, perfecting its appearance all around. Begin with a light dusting of it if you are wearing it over foundation or multiple other layers. I like to use a fan brush with mine. I have also found that because of it’s unique consistency that I can use this product alone or over a primer, sans foundation as it does give a bit of light coverage. I love this aspect because I really do prefer not to layer on makeup when I do not have to and love a fresh bronzed look for summer. As for the shade, I guess it depends on your skin tone how it appears on you. I think that it is a good option for those with lighter complexions that often find many bronzers too dark. As for tone; I’ve heard reviewers rave about how it’s not orange(y) at all and others say it’s too orangey. I find it is just a tad orangey. If it’s put on lightly it’s fine but the more it’s built up the more I notice more orange than I prefer. If the shade was just a touch less terra-cotta; I think it would be the perfect bronzer because I really love the formula!

By the way, where did you get your keyboard skin from!?

Love that one too..I got the skin from Amazon. It was a set and also has the coordinating bottom and top snap on case for my macbook air. It’s super cute.

I love the chocolate soleil bronzer as well. I love the color of it. Which color do you use? I love the medium-dark one as it contours and bronzes up my skin at the same time

Yes! The original med-deep one works for me in the summer months (or 9 months out of the year here in CA.. ) The milk chocolate is better for me on my natural skin tone, when I get too light the darker matte can make my skin look kind of dirty. I know what you mean too it’s probably the least orangey/bronzey bronzer shade you can find and b/c it’s matte on top of that it does work to contour as well! I love Too Faced all around! 🙂

Same! I have it in the color Medium-Deep. It’s the best! I don’t think I will ever find another contour/bronzer that’s better.

Haven’t tried this! I always have a hard time finding bronzers that aren’t too orangey…

Yea…orangey or the opposite where they make your face look muddy or dirty! I have several I like now.. I would love to take this Too faced formula and make it the shade of Tarte’s Park Ave Princess! 🙂
