Hey everyone! Welcome to another Glam Bag review!
This month’s theme is: The Dreamers
The bag itself is kind of a ‘dreamscape’ and I love it. I like it more in person than I thought I would from the pictures I saw. I got some pretty good product this month too. I always love getting face masks and it’s even more cool that my masks were a duo
Below is a shot of my April bag:
Ipsy is a monthly subscription service. Each month, subscribers will receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Members can watch and play along with the stylists with the same products that they are using. All for only $10 a month.
I have been a member for more than 2 years and I absolutely love it. I have discovered so many excellent products through Ipsy! I may not always love everything I receive but for only 10.00 a month it is such a fun surprise to look forward to each month! Ipsy spotlights numerous brands each month and you will generally receive something from 5 of them! In addition to the products received you will get discount codes from most brands…even the ones that you do not receive! This months’ discounts include but are not limited to: Living proof, Colourpop, First Aid Beauty, Nyx Cosmetics, Trust Fund Beauty, Model Co.…the discounts range between 10% -50% off purchase (averaging at 20-25%) and are occasionally a dollar amount. They sometimes include a gift with purchase.
Ipsy also offers curated sets and other products throughout the month that can be purchased at a special price! I LOVE THESE! Current set specials available are from: Sophi Nail Polish & Agave Healing vapor iron set
Another perk is the point system. You can review your bag and items each month to save points for additional products!

The Goods:
Tarte Cosmetics LipSurgence Lip Crème in Wonder: Product is a deluxe mini, full size is $24.00
This is a creamy lip crayon with Tarte’s popular Maracuja oil & can be used on lips & cheeks. You can swipe this product lightly for a sheer wash of color or build it up to deepen the shade. This is described as a poppy pink but looks poppy red on me. It has really great pigment and went on pretty intensely when applied to my lips. If you are going for a lighter look, apply a small amount and blend it with your finger or a lip brush. I like the formula of this product and have a couple of them already but I’ve still yet to receive one in a shade that looks good on me. The product glides on super smooth and has a slight but refreshing minty-ness to it.

Skinn Cosmetics Bright Eyes Eye Enhancing Nude Eyeliner: Full size $18.00
This is a nude eyeliner designed for the waterline and inner rims of the eye to give eyes a brighter, wider & larger overall appearance. I was really excited to try this. The white liners always made me look super weird and the only nude version I have tried had some shimmer in it. This version really works to brighten up your eye area without that ‘wait, what going on with your eyes thing’ that the white versions create. Liner goes on pretty easily…I wish the staying power was a bit better.

Pūr-lisse Prevent Blue Lotus + White Tea Treatment Sheet Mask: 2 masks $8.00 ea or $36.00 for a pack of 6
I love receiving masking products in beauty subs. It’s even more cool that they sent 2! This is your typical soft paper mask saturated in serum, comprised of Asian Botanicals to moisturize nourish & renew your skin. I used this version early in the morning and my skin looked nice and plumped up afterward. Just be sure, if you are using this as a morning routine, that you allow yourself plenty of time for all of the serum to soak in after removing. There is quite a bit that remains and it’s a bit sticky until it is fully absorbed. Great masks.
Ofra Eyeshadow Shimmer Pan Single (refill) in Bohemian: Full size pan $12.00
I don’t really do too much with pan makeup & making palettes, other than my Urban Decay versions. I have received a few different brands of Pan cosmetics via Ipsy though so I grabbed a super inexpensive ELF palette at Target one day and all of them, including this one have fit…just in case anyone was needing one. 🙂 This shade is nice and can be used wet or dry. The pigment is really good though a tad bit messy. I did use a high pick up brush though. Pretty good shadow singles for those who enjoy making their own palettes.

LAB2 Just Blending Brush: $6.99
This blending brush is long and dome shaped, designed to blend eyeshadow in to the crease of the eyelid. I like the entire design of this brush and it works really well for both under the brow highlight and crease blending. It has really good product pick up too. The brand is cruelty free & the prices are really affordable.
Excellent bag this month with a crazy high value, especially for only $10.00
