Hooray! My Summer Special Edition Box is here. I managed to make it to delivery day only seeing the first spoiler and I could not wait to see what this gorgeous, newly designed (and really large box) had in store for me! I love Special Edition PSMH and the summer version tends to be a favorite of mine..but then, I love all things summer!
Oh how I love it..
The Summer 2016 Must Have Limited had such a gorgeous theme, the color scheme paired in a delightful way with each item inside the luxe, navy box; with its newer styling. I loved all of the white and black…the navy and blues and the tiny, little splashes of color. It was curated quite nicely and was my kind of happy. Shall we?
Summer 2016 Must Have Limited:
Hat Attack Twisted Stripe Tote: Sugg. Retail $95.00
This was the first spoiler released for the box and the only one that I saw. I would be lying if I claimed I was over the moon with joy over receiving a large beach bag…simply b/c I have SO many; but, once arrived, I really loved this one. It’s really large and its depth is very malleable allowing you to stuff loads of items inside. It’s appearance is very nice with thin leather shoulder straps, a natural look of woven straw and a chic striped pattern. It has a classic look and will work for a soloist toting their needed goods wherever, stylishly; but, can also be stuffed to the max toting beach needs for a small family to and fro. I will be replacing other bags for this one as my summer beach tote and I will look fabulous doing so. 😉
Tote Dimensions are as follows:
Height: 12.25in / 31cm
Length: 18.5in / 47cm
Depth: 9.5in / 24cm
Handle drop: 8.75in / 22cm
Link above is for Shopbop.com. Hat Attack does still have this bag in stock but only in the navy stripe. Shopbop has navy, as well as the version I received, shown above. Price is the same.
Tofino Towel Co The Chesterman: Sugg. Retail *$74.99
I love this beach towel. It’s huge, it’s round, it’s fringed. It’s beach towel bliss. I adore this oversized beach towel with its color scheme consisting of various shades of blue on white, finished with a rope style, looped fringe. It’s so cool. As a beach goer; I’ve been wanting a large, round beach towel for some time but they are hard to find and really pricey. I was really excited when I pulled this item from the box and I can’t wait to spread this out atop the sand and lay myself and my things on it while being the subject of total beach towel envy. The Tofino Towel site has so many amazing versions that I am having my own beach towel envy over other designs I would have preferred. The bohemian patterns, the black towels with white…They are all gorgeous. I want them all! *PSMH has their suggested retail listed as $74.99, maybe you can find them at that price somewhere, but Tofino Towel’s has this version and all others listed at: $89.00. Have I mentioned how much I love this item?
Herbivore Botanicals Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist: Sugg. Retail $32.00
Another hit! I have been big in to Herbivore Botanicals lately, which I first found through Urban Outfitters; later found I could purchase items through Amazon store, Carbon Beauty. (Love their store, Love Amazon.) Most all of my skin care these days is comprised of Kbeauty and other Asian beauty products as well as Lush and other natural beauty product brands. My skin is happier this way. Aside from digging this brand I am addicted to facial mists and even more so in these hot summer months. This has everything I love; coconut water, a refreshing feel, a light rose fragrance that isn’t cloying; comprised of youth and moisture boosting botanicals that works for all skin types.
Londontown Lakur Royal Wedding: Sugg. Retail $16.00
I’ve seen this brand around social media but had not tried it myself before now. The pop of coral/peach and this brand’s chic black and white packaging made for the perfect small item to add to this box. While I’m not crazy about receiving a single polish in a box such as this; I do like trying new brands and I loved this box as a whole. This shade is a favorite summer time hue of mine and the polish itself is really nice…plus, the packaging; always the sucker for nice packaging. I definitely recommend a base coat with this one and it looks best with two coats.
Here are the polish specs:
LONDONTOWN’S long-lasting, high shine nail lacquers fuse bold colors with enriching botanicals to hydrate and strengthen nails from within, improving nail quality and manicure length with every application.
- Florium Complex Infused Formula
- Superior long-lasting wear
- Chip-resistant shine
- Vegan, Gluten-free, Cruelty-free
Corkcicle Canteen: Sugg. Retail $27.95
On a scale of one to things I own way too many of; water bottles are definitely up there on the too many end of the scale. I was in a state of blah when I opened this as the first item; but, after allowing it to further set in, this particular beverage canteen certainly possesses the specs to replace all other bottles I own as ‘the bottle’. I love the white and silver motif, it’s lovely to look at; but the bottle’s capabilities are what really set it apart from the rest:
This 16 oz canteen is crafted from stainless steel with proprietary triple insulation & patented easy-grip flat sides. No-slip bottom. Keeps drinks ice cold for up to 25 hours or hot for up to 12 without freezing or sweating. (Cold even longer for drinks containing ice)
Those are some pretty impressive specs and the array of cool shades, designs and extensive sizing make this bottle stand out amongst the rest as well.
Sugarfina Ice Cream Cones: Sugg. Retail $7.50
The cute factor regarding these pastel hued, ice cream shaped gummies; housed in a clear, acrylic cube, is obvious. I did not, however; expect them to be so absolutely delicious. Perfect texture, just the right amount of sweet and they put a smile so big on my face I want to eat them every day; I want one hundred cubes of them so I can pass them out to random strangers and spread their joy….You’ll have to just trust me on this. They’re stupid good. 😉 Warning: This site will leave you in a state of pure sugary bliss.
This box was very well curated. Each item looked perfect with the next and it had a real cohesive feel to it. While it didn’t have quite the value of some of the other holiday and seasonal $100.00 price point boxes; it was still valued at more than double and well worth the cost of the box. I’m going to use and enjoy each item I received making it a highly successful purchase on my end. What did you think of this season’s Limited Edition? I’d love to hear your thoughts!!??
