Hey Beauty Fans!
Today I will be reviewing the June Allure Beauty Box.
For $15.00 per month you will receive a box containing 5 or more deluxe sized beauty products from today’s most luxurious brands.
One of my favorite things about the Allure Beauty Box is how carefully it is curated and the awesome little mini mag that is included in each box. It gives excellent descriptions and tips for each item in the box with a descriptive and down to earth introduction to the boxes content. I love the beauty director’s honest representation of each product.
The Box:
The Goods:
Leaders 7 Wonders Himalayan Camellia Pore Minimizing Sheet Mask: 1 sheet mask $6.00
I love getting sheet masks; I can never have too many. I love going through my stash and picking out the perfect mask for the particular day or evening’s concerns. They are like the adult equivalent of a candy stash in their unique and brightly colored packaging..so many different versions. I’ve really liked the Leaders versions I’ve tried and this one is perfect for my skin concerns. These are of better quality than a lot of the sheet masks I’ve tried and despite being designed for pore reduction and problem skin it left my skin feeling hydrated and looking much better than it did prior.. even leaving my pores slightly less visible.
Klorane Shampoo with Mango Butter: Deluxe Travel Size $9.00 full size $20.00
This is a hydrating shampoo with an amazingly bright, summery, fruity scent. I’m never too great at judging how good a shampoo really is as I require loads of conditioners and oils post wash, regardless. This shampoo smells so good though; I enjoy using it. As long as it doesn’t dry my hair out more, or leave it more tangled than normal, prior to conditioning; I’m not too particular about the shampoo portion of my routine, so this totally works.
Pur-lisse Blue Lotus SPF 30 Essential Daily Moisturizer: Travel size $20.00 Full size $55.00
I really like Pur-lisse and the blue lotus line, the lip treatment and sheet masks are a couple of my favorites. This product is essentially a sun cream, feels and smells like one but absorbs pretty quickly without leaving a greasy residue. I have a couple that I prefer; but it’s no bad at all and I’d use it in a pinch for sure.
Pur-lisse Blue Lotus Eye Adore Serum: Deluxe Sample. Full Size is $65.00
this is an eye serum that works great for both day and night. It’s quick to absorb and gives you the instant soothing and de-puffing you love while smoothing the fine lines in your delicate under eye area in to something a bit more manageable. It isn’t drying but it’s also not too thick or rich for day time use. For night; it’s the perfect step one before a richer more emollient night time eye cream. I really like this product and have already incorporated it in to my eye care routine.
Kardashian Beauty Cabana Bronze: Deluxe Mini. Full Size $14.99
This is actually a pretty nice bronzer as far as the texture and shade trio goes. They are each nice on their own and look good blended together. You could definitely customize your shade of bronze from very light to a standard bronzing shade. It’s a bit hard to do as this version is pretty small but I bet the full sized option is a pretty good. I swirled all 3 shades together and it looked nice on my light/medium, lightly tanned complexion.

Julep Nail Color in Katie: Full Size $14.00
I’m always a tad bit peeved when I get a Julep nail polish in a subscription box. I already subscribe to Julep, have for several years, and while I love the brand; I do not want to receive it in another beauty sub. This is the first time I received a shade I did not already own, so at least there’s that. For those of you that are new to Julep, their polish is excellent, if you’ve not tried their products out by now, you should. Julep is a sub I’ve been getting for years now but do not do a monthly review of on my blog. (I have a few of these) This sub gives you the ability to skip, so I do not receive the box every month. The brand slowly ventured in to cosmetics and beauty products too and while it was a bit shaky at first, they now spotlight some pretty fabulous products in both cosmetics and skin care. I plan to do a ‘best of Julep’ blog post soon as there are several products in many different categories, that I absolutely love. (lips, nails, skincare)…and I have a box on its way that I am super excited about. Long and short of it? It’s a great company and this is a great polish in a nice shade. If you are interested in signing up for julep’s maven program you can check it out here.
Not a bad box… Love the mask and Pur-lisse is a great brand. The fresh & fruity Klorane shampoo was a nice touch too as it’s a rare occasion when shampoo and/or conditioner ‘samples’ in beauty subs are big enough for all of my hair
