July Must Have is here and while June’s was all about the start of summer and the celebrations to come; July’s is more themed around the heart of summer and the novelties that come with it. This box had a fun, quirky and vintage summer theme that I really loved; a lot of this and that, but in a good way. The July ‘mini’ went right along with it with both a quirky/fun and a useful item; still yet to really win me over yet I just keep ridin’ the wave. Click here for my PSMH Mini review.
It’s no secret that I love PSMH, anticipating what the next box will bring, digging through my box upon arrival, trying everything, finding places in my home for others. It is simply stated: a really fun box, with a little of everything. This particular box is no exception:
If you are new to the game Popsugar Must Have is a Monthly Lifestyle Subscription Box service, delivered to your door monthly for $39.95 (free shipping) and is valued at over $100.00.
*They also curate several 1 time purchase, luxury, limited edition boxes that are fabulous!
NEW Popsugar has also recently launched their newest monthly addition ‘the mini’. This version released its very first box in April. You can read my review for the first box and all about the subscription here!
Each Must Have box is filled with the best in fashion, beauty, home, fitness, food and more; curated by Popsugar Editor in Chief Lisa Sugar. I personally adore this box and look forward to receiving it each month. They may not hit it right on the mark, every time, for everyone but most of the time, for me; they do a really good job. I really enjoy receiving such a wide variety of products in one sub box and I love the anticipation of such! I generally like and use all of the products I receive yet in the event something does not suit me it is always something of quality that I can gift it to another. PSMH works with many good, quality, relevant and on trend brands, many of them high end so it’s a great box for receiving tried and true products/brands as well as new products and up and comers! 2 words: Beauty Blender!! Sunnylife Inflatable Swan Drink Holder: Sugg. Retail $18.00
I almost ordered this exact product just recently; glad I didn’t! I have a huge pool so inflatables are fun and useful to me, (though I can imagine this product would be less useful for many)… This swan is super cute and trendy right now for pool party fun. I blew mine up immediately and let him set sail, drink in tow; which it held pretty securely. This little guy holds up to 4 drinks at a time and looks good doing so. Mine seems to be losing air quickly though, after only a day, not sure if it is simply due to the sun or if it has a small leak. It does come complete with a full patching kit though. 🙂
(I had fun with this guy)
House of Pom Emoji cocktail Napkins: Sugg. Retail $25.00
I adore these quirky/fun emoji napkins! These will be the perfect coaster for any get-together; yet, are just as cool and smile inducing, stacked on my dining room table for use any time. The colorful embroidery is well done and the idea was perfect. This item is exclusive, designed for PSMH with House of Pom and I’ve not found anything similar online.
Could these be any cuter?!
Sachajuan Hair in the Sun: Sugg. Retail $32.00
This is a UV filtering hair product that is designed to protect your hair from UV rays for extended amounts of time. It will not wash out in the ocean or pool and claims to continue to protect your hair even after shampooing. This is good news for those worried about your new color fading but not the easiest thing to test out for effectiveness. It has a light fresh scent and kind of works like the creams I apply to smooth my hair as is, so that’s nice. Apply it post beach/swim and tote it along to smooth the salty air or chlorine induced frizzies.
Pintrill Pineapple Pin: Sugg. Retail $12.00
Bringing back the oh so trendy pineapple trend that was also featured in the PSMH mini; we have this oh so adorable little pineapple pin. This little stick pin will be a welcome addition to plenty of things like makeup bags, other purses/bags, scarves etc. and I have the perfect beach bag in mind for mine already!
Michael Stars Porcelain Skinny Scarf in White: Sugg Retail $30.00
The ‘skinny scarf’ a sort of replacement for the ‘statement necklace’ this summer; can be worn numerous different ways; draped, knotted or as PSMH suggested, ‘using the pineapple pin to pin it in place.’ While this look is a bit preppy for me and I’m not sure I’ll go that route, it will make a great headband/wrap for me to tame my constant wet, messy, beach hair! (on sale for $21.00 @ MichaelStars.com)
They’re definitely cute together though!
European Wax Center Oh My Brow Highlighter in Pearl: Sugg. Retail $19.00
This is an item type that I use on the daily; under brows, corners of the eyes, a swipe up the nose…here a swipe there a swipe… I have a favorite and I’ve tried and used many; some better than this, some worse. This one is not bad but doesn’t hold a candle to my favorite; Chella, Ivory Lace version, but I’ll use it and the packaging is vibrant and fun, upping it at least one notch. 😉
Joe Chips Classic Sea Salt Retro Potato chips: Sugg. Retail $1.49
These are your standard Kettle Cooked Potato Chips in fun, retro packaging; AKA: chips I almost never buy and try to stay away from b/c their spectacular crunch and flavor causes me to devour an entire bag…my kiddo enjoyed them as his pool side snack with a bai coconut soda though, and life was good. 🙂
A customizable jewelry company with prices starting around $70.00
What did you think of this quirky, fun, summer themed July box? I was a fan. The theme was fun, I liked the way everything fit together and the somewhat vintage with modern twist vibe. The value of everything totaled $128.49 (accounting for the Michael Stars sale) plus a $20.00 gift card. Not too shabby.
