ToGoSpa Green Tea Eyes.jpg

ToGoSpa Green Tea EYES: 3 pack $12.50

I love, love, love these.  This is one of 4 different versions the brand makes in their ‘eye’ category and I have loved them all.  I am a huge fan of under eye gel/collagen patches and use them nearly every morning.  Some are more effective than others, but they all make me feel more awake and my eyes more refreshed.  ToGoSpa’s versions fit my under eye area the best giving me coverage in the entire area that I want.  Now I am not prone to really dark circles like some people are and I think that those with genetic dark circles will never get the results from anything that they desire, but for those that just get shadow-y circles under the eyes from age, long nights, lack of sleep and/or puffiness from all of that plus allergies; these products work great for that and for smoothing faint lines.  Plus; they make you feel more alive and that is worth its weight in gold for me.  I would be happy to get these every month and the best part…just this product cost more than the monthly glam bag.  Win.  Here is ToGoSpas’ Description: Super Anti-oxidant Green Tea contains a potent batch of antioxidants (catechins) to combat dark circles and add an extra brightening supercharge! It’s been called a “Tingly Delight” and the scent will calm and soothe the crankiest of moods! And as always… No Parabens, No Dyes.

eyeko-eye-do-liquid-liner

Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner:  Deluxe Mini. Full Size is $20.00

The one thing that I really go through a lot of is black liquid eyeliner.  I prefer the mini versions just as I prefer the mini mascaras.  I have a handful of preferred liquid liners; and this is one of them.  So, nothing new or exciting, but I will eventually use it.  This one is the perfect ultra fine tip, goes on smooth and is easy to get right on the lash line;  plus, it stays really well.

seraphine-guave-butter-lip-and-cheek

Seraphine botanicals Guava Butter 91% natural Lip & Cheek Stain:  Full Size $24.00

This brand is totally new to me; but it looks really cool.  The brand prides themselves in the making of skin-loving cosmetics from nutritious, organic, fairtrade ingredients, sourced sustainably & responsibly without any of the following ingredients: Artificial preservatives, Parabens, Harsh chemicals, dyes or non-food grade fragrances, Silicone or Dimethicone, Pthalates, Sulphates, Petroleum, Bismuth Oxychloride, Nanoparticles.  I love this list; especially the ‘Bismuth Oxychloride’, often found in ‘mineral cosmetics’ (among others) which it turns out, my skin is completely intolerant of.  I learned the hard way…  Anyway; this little stick, I love.  Its so creamy and sheer and the color looks really pretty on.  I love it.

it-superhero-mascara

it Cosmetics Superhero Mascara:  Deluxe Mini.  Full Size $24.00

I think I have a new favorite mascara.  I’ve liked it Cosmetics since first receiving ‘bye bye undereye’ in an ipsy bag long ago.  That stuff is pretty magical so it’s no surprise to me that this product is too.  This mascar gives both length and volume and with very little effort.  I love the brush which covers most of my lashes in one swoop, tugs them perfectly and keeps them from clumping.  It has definitely earned its namesake, in my book!

A closer look.

avene-serum

Avène Hydrance Optimale: Deluxe Mini.  Full Size $38.00

Avene is a great brand for sensitive skin lacking moisture.  This product uses thermal spring water to give quick and lasting hydration while calming the skin.  This stuff is thin and light yet delivers a nice amount of hydration, perfect for those that really need moisture and can’t handle heavier products and /or oils.

…and there you have it.  I really loved my bag this month and it had a really great value (more than $60.00)  I found a cool new brand and a favorite new mascara; plus, I got a re-stock on ToGoSpa eye treatments.  Huge win.  Thoughts??

That is a really great bag! I loved mine, but I’m really loving yours, too! Those under eye patches in particular seem like they’d be heavenly, and I know I’d love Avene anything. Mascara is always loved and appreciated, and that all over face stick has intrigued me since I’ve seen it. All in all a great bag.

I’ll admit I’m not much a fan of liquid eyeliner/pens because I don’t really do cat eyes much. I’ve had some really awful experiences with pens. That only recently changed when I got the Kat Von D liner in my Sephora Play and decided to give it a shot because so many people had been raving about how easy it was to use. They were right. So now I might just pull my eyeko pen from the gift/swap box purgatory and give it a go.

Yes. I have been getting really great bags from Ipsy lately. (totally knocking on wood right now) Check out that brand, Seraphine, that makes the stick; I definitely want to check out more from them. The product is so smooth it’s incredible and the shade is gorgeous… The mascara is the best new to me I have tried in a very long time. I do the cat eye, even if it is subtle. I have nearly hooded eye lids and the winged eye on me is almost as essential as my facial features haha. I have changed my look in a million ways over the course of 20 years..but the liquid winged liner, in some way, remains. Without it I do not look like myself. lol. If you like the KVD, def try the eyeko; if it is the same version as the one I received. It’s very similar..and I think the mini sizes are easier to use.

I received one of their eyeliners long ago and did not like it at all..so I kind of felt whatever about the brand..but then I got another version in a different box and loved it so I was like: hmmm.. then I got this version in a mini and liked it even more and used it up; so I was happy I just received a new one. It’s super precise and stays on. I love the smaller size b/c I find them easier to draw a perfect precise wing with!

The IT Cosmetics mascara is great. One of the few I can wear in the summer in Phoenix and not have panda eyes at the end of the day.

It is. I was really impressed. I’m very picky with mascara and this one does it all. And yes. IT Cosmetics is a really great brand. I’m with you on the; ‘it’s so hot my mascara is melting’ aspect. It’s nearly October and I am still looking at 101 next week. :/

Same thing in Phoenix – everyone is seeing the weather cool down and my air conditioner is cranking out here!

Yes! It hit 92 in San Francisco yesterday…which is unheard of at any time of the year.
