It’s time to check out this month’s [October] Must Have Mini. I was just about to review my October Must Have box when this baby showed up! (It typically arrives prior to the original full sized PSMH Box) This is the box’ 7th month (Why am I still counting?) and this month subscribers received 3 smaller items, like we did in August. I’ve been pretty happy with my boxes the past few months, so I’ve stuck around. I definitely go back and forth [in my head] on this one though..to keep or not to keep, as there are several newer boxes I’d like to try, and also; I really get too many subscriptions! This month’s box featured a beauty item as well as a couple accessory type items. I enjoyed the products I received and thought it was a fun little box.

Olivia Palermo X Ciaté London ‘The Cheekbone Cheat Blush/Bronzer Duo: Sugg. Retail $32.00
Ok, so; I remember when this collab first launched. It seemed fairly popular, I saw it on Instagram quite a bit. However; the line has since been phasing out, products moved to sale prices and that just may be the nature of a product collaboration, but I do not know that you can purchase this product any longer, at least not from Sephora or Ciate’s site. I will say; I really like the product. I certainly did not need another bronzer/blush sculpting duo, but since I have it….. the colors really are perfect for me and I liked the silky smooth texture of the powder, It’s light and almost sheer but very buildable. The Compact itself is really pretty too.
and a swatch..
Friendship Socks The Rockstar: Sugg Retail $15.00
These socks have a nice print, are comfy and tall enough to wear with plenty of boot styles. This ‘Friendship socks’ brand is a whole sock thing…and I know that there are people that are really in to socks. There is a send a friend a pair of socks ‘thing’ and a 1 for me and 1 for you ‘thing’ and there’s a monthly sock sub that is also a 1 for me and 1 for you ‘thing’ ie: a pair for you and a pair for a friend, every month. This company clearly digs socks and their friends. Cute.
Kitch Patch Stick: Sugg. Retail $8.00
Patches and pins are totally ‘in’ and are popping up all over bomber jackets, satin jackets, military styles, jeans, bags…virtually anything you can slap a patch on. This faux leather version comes with a one time sticky adhesive and I will be slapping it on my kindle for smiles. PS. kitsch (mykitsch.com) has a ton of cute, fun things at good prices.
What did you think of this month’s mini? I wish they would have picked a more current beauty item but despite the Ciate/Olivia Palermo collab being phased out; I did really like the feel and texture of this duo and the shades are perfect for me.
Stay tuned; the full sized October version will be up soon!
