It’s time to check out this month’s [November] Must Have Mini. I’ve been pretty happy with my mini boxes for the past few months, so I’ve stuck around. I definitely go back and forth [in my head] on this one though..to keep or not to keep, as there are several newer boxes I’d like to try, and also; I really get too many subscriptions! Meri Meri Mini Gold Star Garland: Sugg. Retail $10.00
This is a sparkly star adorned mini Garland, 6 ft in length. When I first saw this I thought it was pretty cute and that I could easily find somewhere in my home this holiday season to incorporate it. 6 ft is a lot longer when you are simply thinking about it as I have a small palm tree that I decorate with fairy lights, I thought that adding this garland would give it an extra touch for holiday decorating, but I could not even get the garland around the tree twice. 😦 I was able to creatively make it work but the real issue I have with the garland is the fact that the stars are only one sided and it’s impossible to have all of them facing forward at one time. I thought this was an odd move, not making the stars gold and glittery on both sides..but simply bare cardboard on the opposite side. I will likely be able to find a place for the garland elsewhere, likely on a holiday table, coinciding with some of the products you will read about this week in my full sized must have box review 😉 but I really wish the product had been made a bit better.

Juara Skincare Turmeric Antioxidant Radiance Mask: Sugg Retail $38.00
I’ve sample Juara products through Birchbox, and liked them. This turmeric mask is designed to brighten, purify and give your skin some glow. This mask can be used as a standard wash-off mask or as an over night sleeping mask variety. (I think I will go the sleeping mask route next time) The scent isn’t bad, but nothing special, and it isn’t too strong. I do not have really sensitive skin, but I’ve heard others who do say the mask ingredients did not agree with their skin. It worked fine with mine but I didn’t notice any extraordinary results after only one use. I found it slightly soothing on my skin and possibly a bit improved in softness and appearance overall…I plan to use it a couple more times this week and moving forward to see if continuing use will increase results. I did like the smooth texture and how it felt while it was on my skin. I’m hoping to see better results when used over night.
What did you think of this month’s mini? I liked getting a higher end skincare item from a brand I’ve tried and liked and while the garland could certainly be improved I’ll likely find a different use for it, on one of my holidays dining tables somewhere.
