It’s no secret that I love PSMH, anticipating what the next box will bring, digging through my box upon arrival, trying everything, finding places in my home for others.  It is simply stated: a really fun box, with a little of everything. This particular box is no exception:

Each Must Have box is filled with the best in fashion, beauty, home, fitness, food and more; curated by Popsugar Editor in Chief Lisa Sugar.  I personally adore this box and look forward to receiving it each month.  They may not hit it right on the mark, every time, for everyone but most of the time, for me; they do a really good job.  I really enjoy receiving such a wide variety of products in one sub box and I love the anticipation of such!  I generally like and use all of the products I receive yet in the event something does not suit me it is always something of quality that I can gift it to another.  PSMH works with many good, quality, relevant and on trend brands, many of them high end so it’s a great box for receiving tried and true products/brands as well as new products and up and comers!  2 words: Beauty Blender!!   Thinking of taking the plunge?  Check it out here!

The Goods:

(I will begin with all of the home/holiday items)

pehr-chambray-runner-wine

Pehr Chambray Runner Wine:  Sugg.  Retail $44.00

This table runner is a rich wine and cream, perfect for the Holidays, but understated enough to use all winter long.  The runner is of chambray fabric and a simple colorblock pattern, with a rough fringed edge.  The dimensions of the runner are: Length  90″ X Width 14″.  I love how simple this runner is…and how nice everything came together once I decided to place it on my dining table.

aj-goods-nest-wire-bowl

AJ Goods Nest Wire Bowl:  Sugg. Retail $35.00

This is another simple, understated home item that I really like.  Each of these bowls are handmade in India and portray an effortless design touch whichever way you choose to style it, anywhere you choose to put it.  Simple items like these are perfect for the interior decorating challenged, as you can easily change their look with the seasons and holidays, using them as a focal point, with minimal effort.  They also make an excellent fruit bowl.  I chose to incorporate mine in to my holiday dining table.

meri-meri-star-party-picks

Meri Meri star Party Picks:  Sugg. Retail $8.00

It’s hard to look at these and not want to host a holiday party.  I will definitely find a way to incorporate them in to appetizers this season.  For now, they have a home on my table awaiting their turn.

And here is how I chose to incorporate all of the items on my dining table:

Now, I typically do not take my fall/Thanksgiving items down and begin decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving…but I couldn’t resist utilizing my new items right away and creating a simple, understated look, perfect for a Thanksgiving feast, on one of my dining tables.  The rest, will wait until after turkey!

Now, on to the remaining goodies:

kendra-scott-elaina-bracelet-rose-gold-white-pearl

Kendra Scott Elaina Rose gold Bracelet in White Pearl:  Sugg.  Retail $50.00

I love Kendra Scott Jewelry and was so excited to hear of this spoiler.  This rose gold bracelet boasts the typical characteristics of Kendra Scott, in a dainty, fully adjustable bracelet.  I adore the pearly stone set in rose gold.  This is just the type of item I love receiving to accessorize with during the holidays.

stowaway-cosmetics-palette

Stowaway Cosmetics Dawn to Dusk Palette:  Sugg. Retail $25.00

Stowaway Cosmetics is a brand with the girl on the go in mind; designing products in minimalist, portable packaging.  Basically, with this brand, you can fit everything you need in one small bag.  I’ve owned a trio of their lipsticks and really liked them.  As a girl who weekends, I appreciate products that travel well in minimal space.  This little palette is about the size of a credit card and the packaging is rubbery.  It’s very thin too.  While I do really like the array of shades in this palette and they would totally suffice for a weekend away, the quality of each shade is pretty inconsistent and not what I am used to.  Some of the shades swatched pretty good, while the brown and the navy were quite poor, I really had to layer and layer to get those and it probably doesn’t help that the pans are so tiny.  So, it took some effort to get the swatches I did.  I found ways to make it work though,  I did discover that using the angled brush on the two shades that swatched poorly as eyeshadow, worked pretty well as eyeliner.  Not what I’d hoped for.

And the tasty treat…

oohies-gourmet-toffee-butter-popcorn

Oogie’s Snacks Gourmet Toffee Butter Popcorn: Sugg.  Retail $2.99

Always a sucker for anything toffee.  This version was nicely coated with a delightful texture.  Just the type of item that should never enter my house but makes for the perfect wintry night treat; at least I think so, I’ve forgotten what those are like… 😉

psmh-discounts

…and I mustn’t forget all of the discounts.  The Kendra Scott will come in handy when Christmas shopping.

So; great box for me.  It was the perfect little intro to the Holiday season.  While I’d had higher hopes for the beauty item, I really enjoyed all of the home items and the sparkle for my wrist!  Thoughts?

Me too! I’d love to find a nice home subscription, even if it were just seasonal…and that might be best actually. Maybe I should start my own 🙂

Oh! It’s a great box. It varies month to month and is always my favorite near the Holidays! It’s a lifestyle box so you can generally expect to get something beauty related, something to accessorize, a home item, food etc. every month. I have been getting it for years. I adore the runner as well and the bracelet is gorgeous! Thanks for reading!
