Hey Beauty Fans, November’s Beauty Box has arrived and while it’s theme is ‘party central’ its lackluster content has left me searching for a new party. 😦 This box has some good brands, it’s just dull and repetitive: another Bvlgari mini, another red polish… the Bonvivant mask was a nice touch, but I feel like they could have made it a trio… Anyway, read on and see for yourselves, you might love it.
About:
For $15.00 per month you will receive a box containing 5 or more deluxe sized beauty products from today’s most luxurious brands.
One of my favorite things about the Allure Beauty Box is how carefully it is curated and the awesome little mini mag that is included in each box. It gives excellent descriptions and tips for each item in the box with a descriptive and down to earth introduction to the boxes content. I love the beauty director’s honest representation of each product.
The Box:
(Bracelet is Rachel Zoe)
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat: Mini $1.99
I already own this topcoat, which I purchased some time ago when always seeing it spotlighted by Instagram nail artists. It’s a pretty good top coat, but it smells extremely strong. The smell does fade out once your nails are dry. This product does a great job at drying your nails quickly, it has a nice shiny finish and does seem to make my polish last a bit longer than with most top coats
Seche Premier Colour in Refined: Full Size $6.99
So; of course I received the red shade. I probably own 20 nail polishes in this shade. I’d have been much happier with the alternate shade. This aside, I do like the formula of the polish, it looks very nice on. The formula is a bit on the thin side, so if you begin with too much it will run on to your skin; I had to go back and re-do my first nail attempt.

Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline: Mini Full Size $25.00-$82.00
This is the 4th or 5th Bvlgari perfume mini that I have received in my Allure boxes. The mini bottle versions are really cute but I never use them as they are such a huge pain to get opened. This is a light floral scent, not something I would choose, but it’s OK. I’m not certain if it was the lotion (below) or the combo of the two, but when sampling both products it really bothered my nose and had me sneezing all day. I’ve never really had this happen before. I guess it was just too much floral.
The Mini Collection (I had one more, but I dropped it and broke the bottle)
Red Flower Icelandic Moonflower Moisturizing Body Lotion: Mini. Full Size $26.00
I’ve tried one other product from Red Flower that I really liked. This lotion has a nice scent when I sniffed it from the bottle, but I think when I spread this on my body it was just too much floral for my senses. The formula itself is nice.
Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner: Mini. Full Size $20.00
This long wearing eyeliner is ultra black, precise, stays put and is perfect for creating a great wing. It’s definitely one of my favorites but I have gotten so many of them lately. I really want some new things to try! It is something I use daily so it’s nice having back-ups, to a certain extent.

Bonvivant Botanical Mask Pack: 1 Mask. $3.00
These Bonvivant Botanical Mask Packs are really great and the one box item I was actually excited to try. This is the Aloe version, designed to plump, soften and hydrate dry and sensitive skin. The fiber mask material is breathable, ultra thin and bit different feeling than traditional cotton masks. The mask is super saturated in essence/serum with leftover product for using on its own. The mask was pleasant to wear and left my skin feeling soothed, soft and moisturized.
Pretty underwhelming box, in my opinion. I really hope December’s box has more of a wow factor. The past couple of months have been kind of blah. Thoughts on November’s Box?
