K-beauty Lovers; January’s Tutii box has a great mix of items! I loved this month’s box. With a new masks to try, a gorgeous nude nail polish, and some new skin care items perfect for my skin type; it’s exactly what I look forward to each month. I must admit; I am a bit obsessed when it comes to the whole ‘Asian beauty invasion’ and it’s not simply due to the often ridiculously cute & fun packaging, but the unique ingredients & formulas that have been wonderful & sometimes miraculous even, for my skin type, concerns & issues, as well as the multi step routine meant to fully pamper your skin.

The Box:
The Goods:
Too Cool For School Coconut Milky Body Scrub: Sample Duo. Full Size $10.81
These were a duo of one time use body scrubs from Too School For School. I actually loved this scrub and will likely buy a full size tube. This scrub is essentially comprised of an entire coconut, the shell being the scrubby particles. It sloughed away all of my dead skin and left it soft and glowing. The scent was really great and not a strong chemical like fake coconut you often find in skin care products.
Holika Holika 99% Aloe Soothing Gel: $8.00
I own several aloe products from different Asian beauty brands; a 97% a 98% and now a 99%, this version has a light cucumber-like scent, so I suppose that makes up most of the other 1% of the ingredient list. The packaging on this one is the cutest and though I tend to stick to heavier body moisturizers in the winter, I use aloe a ton in the summer for soothing my hot, sun parched skin and as a light moisturizer that does not make my skin sweat, absorbs quickly and does not leave it sticky. This will work perfectly and will make for a super cute addition to toss in my beach bag.
It’s Skin Nail Style Polish Nudie: $3.98
I’m kind of ‘eh’ when it comes to nail polish in beauty subs because; as a former member of Julep Maven, plus other beauty subs, I have a billion. And, my nails are total crap these days, so nail art is much less enticing. 😦 But, when I saw this gorgeous nude shade; I was actually keen to give it a shot and I love it, it’s gorgeous. Because finding a nude nail color that compliments your skin tone is just as complicated as finding a shade for your lips, I was happy to find this was an excellent match for me. The polish goes on beautifully, even with just one coat, dries quickly and lasts pretty well. Super easy manicure that solved my ugly nail problems. Win.
Swatch 🙂 perfection!
Missha Natural Color Clay Mask Yellow Clay Brightening: $9.00
This mask is made from Brazilian yellow clay and is designed to help brighten up your skin’s tone as well as promote clear skin. The yellow color of this clay mask is cheery and fun and the texture is a smooth, cool clay. It does harden as it dries, but not to a super stiff, crackling finish like some clay masks do. It feels nice and comfortable on your skin until time to rinse. Once the mask was removed my skin felt soft and appeared a touch brighter. Unfortunately it did nothing for the redness on my skin, but it isn’t designed for that either. It’s a good leisurely morning type of mask.
Dearpacker Jeju Flower Sheet Mask: $2.50
These masks come in a variety of flower types, this version being cactus. These masks are 5 free and 100% cotton with a kind of speckled, natural look to the mask. There was plenty of essence on the mask and the fit was comfortable. This version was super soothing on my stressed skin and helped tone down the redness while adding some moisture to my skin. Good sheet mask, adorable packaging.
A’Pieu NonCo Tea Tree Emulsion: $6.36
This emulsion is designed to help clear and maintain clear skin with tea tree oil, aloe, hyaluronic acid and betaine, as well as assist in the skins oil to moisture balance, keeping it moist and soft. I’ve only used this for a few days now, but I like it pretty well so far. It’s got the obvious, token tea tree oil scent when applied to your skin and it’s texture and consistency is that of a light, thin moisturizer (emulsion). It does seem to pack a good amount of moisture though, so I do not have to worry that it will dry out my skin.
Because I receive this box very late in the Month and had a crazy December, you will find content photos from both the November and December Tutii boxes below! (because I missed my December reviews) 😦

December:
If you have any questions about the products in either of the months above, I’d be happy to answer those for you as well. 🙂
I think this is a really great box for anyone who loves K-beauty as well as anyone wanting to give it a go! There was an excellent variety of products in this box covering a lot of areas and I really liked and will use/used everything this month. Korean Cosmetics are often a bit hit or miss for me, but I really liked the nail polish I received this month. I love the time & care that they put in to the packaging and info cards, everything is very cute. The fact that they have several options in different price ranges is a big plus as well.
