Asian beauty Lovers; February’s Tutii box has a great mix of items! This was a pretty good month again… I love the packaging for the luxurious Jeong Yoon Firming Cream and while I think I’m officially overstocked now on under eye hydrogel patches, this is a new to me version, and I dig that they are clear. Good thing I have a little corner of my fridge dedicated to things I stick on my face! I must admit; I am a bit obsessed when it comes to the whole ‘Asian beauty invasion’ and it’s not simply due to the often ridiculously cute & fun packaging, but the unique ingredients & formulas that have been wonderful & sometimes miraculous even, for my skin type, concerns & issues, as well as the multi step routine meant to fully pamper your skin.

The Goods:
Jeong Yoon High Moisturizing Firming Cream: Full Size $26.00
I love the classic and elegant packaging of this product, though I’d never heard of the product prior to receiving it. It is described as a highly moisturizing firming cream designed to keep the skin bright and healthy. It has a gel like texture and an oriental medicine formula that’s meant to balance water in the skin as well as replenish its texture. The scent is very light, but slightly floral. It feels very nice on, and though it seems somewhat rich, it absorbs well and feels light on. I’ve been using it in the evening but slathering it on my neck and chest, day and night. I feel like it has been great for moisture without side effects. I have unfortunately had trouble finding it anywhere that I typically shop, and the random places I have found it range anywhere from around $10.00 (ebay) to $30.00.
Secret Key Starting Treatment Essential Sheet Mask: $5.00
This is a sheet mask I have been meaning to get my hands on so I was pleased to see it in the box Key ingredients for this sheet mask are: Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate – A natural yeast extract containing amino acids, enzymes, antioxidants that acts as a moisture barrier and has anti-inflammatory properties. When applied to skin, it is easily absorbed and improves skin tone, hydration, skin brightness and elasticity. [&]
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice – Helps maximize moisture while soothing skin. This mask had a ton of rich essence, slightly milky, and there is a lot left over in the pouch which I pat in to my neck and chest area multiple times. After 20 minutes, the mask was still pretty drenched, so I could have left it on much longer. I pat the remaining essence in to my skin the best I could and let the product absorb throughout the evening. Right away my skin was less red, and moist, but still pretty goopy. There was quite a lot of the essence still at play, so I only added my moisturizer just prior to sleep and woke to skin that was very moisturized, a bit more plump and looking calm. The fit was somewhat big on me but good in the sense that there were no gaps, allowing it to thoroughly cover all areas. It bothers me when sheet masks have significant gaps around the nose and mouth area (where I require the most ‘help’), but this one had me covered (literally) 😉
Petitfee Collagen & CoQ10 Hydrogel Eye Patch: 60 pieces $18.00
Under eye patches have been a part of my morning routine for many, many months now, I sometimes use them twice in a row, on my puffiest days, or later on as a pick me up. Either way these little jars always have a space in my fridge prepared to be popped on to my under eye area and wake me up with the cold, smooth, silicone gel texture. These may be my favorites so far. They cover plenty of area, stay put pretty well and I like that they are clear. While I can’t say too much for the banishing of dark circles, they definitely help me with the unavoidable under eye puffiness and smoothing the entire area under my eyes. But one thing is for certain, they definitely give me a boost in the morning, and that speaks volumes.
(It’s a bit tough to see the eye patches, as these are clear)
Goodal Waterest Lotus Water Cleansing Tissues: $5.00
I have been getting these quite a bit lately, which is OK as I use these makeup wipes frequently and have not had to purchase any in some time. Goodal is a solid brand and this version works well for me. I keep them on hand in all of my bathrooms, as well as in my nightstand drawer. They are great for days when you are wearing heavier makeup and want to remove it prior to washing, but they are also great for times when you have little left, as well as for short trips with minimal packing.
La’dor Hydro LPP Treatment: $12.00
This is a low ph, collagen infused hair treatment/conditioner with a rich balm like texture and a light fragrance, pleasant, somewhat floral. I’ve used a smaller sample of it once prior and I do like the product. It’s great for an every time conditioner for those with dry hair and makes a nice treatment mask for the dry ends of your hair. Simply saturated the ends with the product and leave it on for an extended period of time. I’ve found this inexpensive little gem of a brand makes some great products for those of us that can’t seem to leave our hair alone.
I think this is a really great box for anyone who loves K-beauty/Asian Beauty as well as anyone wanting to give it a go! There was a good variety of products in this box covering the areas of cleansing, skin care and hair care… and a mask I’d been interested in trying. While it was not my favorite of the many I’ve received I was really pleased with the firming cream and found a new under eye patch type I really like.
