The Bag:

The Goods:
Sephora Collection Lashcraft Length & Volume Mascara: Deluxe Mini. Full Size $12.00
This mascara is an ultra pigmented, nylon infused formula designed for creating dramatic lashes. I was really impressed with this stuff and at only 12 bucks it’s definitely worth a purchase to check out the full size. The brush has a unique paddle style so you can flip it in either direction for different effects and lash areas. This brush really lifts lashes with the flat side and separates them with the reverse. I was able to coat and coat my lashes without any clumping and plenty of length and volume.
I should have done a side-by-side; but, this shows the brush turned in both directions.
Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream: Deluxe Mini. Full size $30.00
This light and luminous eye cream is infused with coffee beans, ginseng and magnolia extract, designed to visibly brighten and depuff the undereye area. I’ve used this eye cream on and off for day time use for some time. It has a lightweight feel and a slight luminous tint to it. Makes eyes feel a bit more awake and refreshed while imparting a subtle glow. Sometimes I layer it with additional product, sometimes I use it alone.
Clinique Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer: Deluxe Mini. Full Size $29.50
When this Clinique ‘pep-start’ line first launched, with it’s bright poppy colors, I figured it was geared toward a younger audience. I feel like they’ve been kind of trying to revive the brand which has remained mostly the same since I can remember, full of classics, but little new or exciting. The chubby stick line gave them a fresh new offering and then came this, followed by the Crayola styled chubby stick lippys. It all looks really fun and I was excited to try the eye cream when I received it in a deluxe sample size, but it really didn’t do much for me. This product is pretty nice, it gives you that blurring primer aspect but it really does give you a burst of moisture along with it. Products like this generally clog my pores though, so I’m afraid to ever use it more than a day, maybe, and the thought of using a product such as this over makeup as a touch-up throughout the day seems an even worse idea, though suggested. It does as it says though and if I weren’t so worried about breakouts, I would like it much more.
Bite Beauty Multistick in Cashew: Deluxe Mini. Full Size $24.00
I love Bite Beauty and I have a lot of their lip products. This is my first multistick though; designed to be used on your eyes, cheeks or lips, this special formula blends like a cream and wears like a lightweight powder (it truly does). The shade is a perfect understated nude that looked great on. I have not tried it on my eyes, but it works perfectly on lips and cheeks.
Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy in Milkshake: Deluxe Mini. Full Size $22.00
I own the original lip injection as well as the extreme, but this is the first lip injection glossy I’ve tried. I’ve reviewed lip plumpers plenty of times (once already today) and my feelings are generally always the same. You either love or hate the ‘tingle’, and maybe some people are just really sensitive to it. I love the way it feels, so I like them. But. They are what they are. They fill out the lines in your lips a bit, but do not actually make your lips bigger. A lot of them can be quite drying for your lips in the long run. The tingling somewhat inspires you to make a poutier face and if you get it outside your lip line a bit and you are sensitive to it, it will pinken the area some. They are fun if you are in to it. I must say though; the bite multistick in cashew, with this over the top, looks amazing together. I love the pouty nude look it gives me. Well played Sephora, well played. 😉
The Fragrance Sample:
My apologies as I must have forgotten to photograph the perfume sample vial; but the scent I received was Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford. I adore Tom Ford. His fragrances are typically the epitome of luxury; but, apparently I lean toward the more masculine side of Tom Ford in that aspect because while Tobacco Vanille is my all time favorite scent, and I’ve been a fan of many other masculine scents, I’ve not been too ‘in to’ the women’s scents I’ve sampled thus far. To me this fragrance is not the transport to the Italian riviera I’d hoped for but instead reminds me of summers at the local pool, Clarins body oil and slathering my face in Clinique’s City Block. I don’t know, but it didn’t work for me.
